Tongue twisters

You probably know some tongue twisters in your native language but do you know any in English? They are a great way to practise certain vowel or consonant sounds. They are difficult to say quickly because of the alliteration of sounds that are similar. Did you know that they are used by actors and actresses to improve their enunciation? What sounds do you find difficult to make in English?  Find a tongue twister below that has that sound in it and try practising every day for a week. You'll definitely improve! Remember that you need to say it a few times and if it is difficult to say quickly, try slowing down a bit. Here are just a selection but there are many more....
